My dog has been there for daycare and also to board for 12 days. It is the first time I have had a dog be excited to board away from my home. Deb treats all the dogs like family. I love the many pictures she sends during my dogs stay, even if she is just there for daycare! Canine Nanny is by far the cleanest, prettiest boarding facility I have ever been in! If I get a vacation, my dog should too! Canine Nanny is my dog’s vacation place!

We were in Lake Chelan for a family vacation and wanted to take two days without Casper, our Golden Retriever. We found Deb based on a recommendation from a competitor, and were very impressed by the facility she has built, and by how quickly Casper took to her. He was instantly at home. Throughout the two days, Deb sent us great updates on his activities and how he was doing which made us totally comfortable he was well cared for. Deb, from beginning to end, was very knowledgeable, engaging, and welcoming. We would not hesitate to bring Casper to stay with Deb again.

Visiting from out of town and staying nearby, we needed a safe place to keep our puppy while we go enjoy a day at Slidewaters. We had never boarded our puppy before and was pretty nervous about it, but Deb (owner) put us at ease and felt confident that our puppy was safe and well cared for. We also conducted meet and greets at the place before leaving our puppy, ensuring that everything was as described. The place is clean and lots of outdoor area for Hero to run around. We received lots of photo updates during his stay. I highly recommend Deb for any of your pet care needs.

Deb was a life saver! We came to Chelan in our RV with our 2 French bulldogs. Dogs were not allowed in the RV park so we had to scramble to find someone ASAP. I have never boarded my dogs before so I was hesitant about leaving them just anywhere. Word of mouth in town was that there was a new kennel opening. Thank god we were able to track down Deb. She said she was not officially open but she would help us out. When we arrived and saw her place, it was not your average dog kennel- but a resort for dogs. Deb was so accommodating and she was great with the text updates and pictures. It seems like they have a lot of time outside of their kennel playing inside and/or outside. Since they were the only overnight dogs they didn’t sleep in their kennel, but instead on the futon with Deb. We are so happy with the canine nanny that when we vacation we will be driving over from the West side for Deb to watch them.

Deb is your woman! She is a woman for your dog(s)!! She likes THEM more than us! That is why I and my dogs LOVE her! Deb puts our fur babbies 1st!!! I have entrusted my dogs to her for years. About 11 years ago I had a last minute invitation to go out of town for 4 days over Thanksgiving. After doing a desperate search for someone to take care of my dog and cat, I stumbled across Deb, The Canine Nanny. It turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to both me and my pets. Deb continued to care for them, whenever needed, including twice weekly dog park trips with my dog, Shadow.
After Shadow passed away at age 17, I adopted an energetic puppy and the park visits continued. Mikey is as sweet as can be, but he does has his unique qualities. She was always willing to find time for us. Deb’s love of animals shows in everything she does. I cannot say enough about how qualified and caring Deb is. I highly recommend her for any of your pet care needs. Plus, she is just plain a very nice person!!

Deb cared for four of my dogs (Patch, Billy, Emi, and Beso), over a period of at least nine years. I always felt like Deb recognized and understood each dog's unique qualities and personality quirks, and loved them all as if they were her own. She frequently went above and beyond my expectations in caring for my pups, and I always felt so much better leaving for work in the morning knowing that Deb would be there later in the day to visit. I also appreciated that Deb always made sure that my dogs would be covered if she was unable to take care of them (and by this I mean if she took a vacation -- I don't remember her taking a single sick day in nine-plus years!) She also did a fantastic job of helping to socialize my newest dog, Beso, who is a rescue from Mexico. Deb is truly a treasure, loved by people and dogs alike, and I can't recommend her highly enough as a caretaker for your beloved pets.

Deb started to help us in Sept, 2013 when our older dog Kovick started to have some incontinence issues. She came over once a day for a potty break. Very quickly, Deb became part of our pack. Kovick loved her, was thankful for the new friend and looked forward to the visits. When Kovick passed in May of 2014, Deb shared in the sorrow and loss with grace and compassion. In July of 2015, Aaron and I welcomed 3 month old Roy into our home. A year later we brought in another member, Maui. Deb has been with them (and us) from the beginning. Whether for in-home potty breaks, trips to the dog park or emergency trips to the vet, Deb always treats our fury companions as her top priority every single day...Because they are. She's beyond trustworthy, communicates well, understands crazy schedules and is dependable as they come. She's part of our family and we're so thankful for her.
